Jeffrey Nemecek, Attorney, Has Become a Public Finance Legal Expert

By now, Jeffrey Nemecek has accumulated experience in the practice of law for more than three decades. Although his specialty is in the areas of public and project financing, he has done a bit of everything. For example, he formed and ran his own firm in 1992. Called the Law Offices of Jeffrey A. Nemecek, his shingle was hung out there for about five years. Of course, Jeffrey Nemecek has also worked with many other prominent firms in the public financing practice.

Nowadays, Jeffrey Nemecek is a counsel at Denton’s in New York City, where he primarily addresses the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis and debt restructuring. For a long time, Jeffrey Nemecek served as either Of Counsel and/or as a Partner at Axiom Legal from 2011-2016, and with Tillinghast Lichtenstein LLP from 2006-2008. In addition, he has worked as an attorney with at least a half dozen other prominent firms since 1976. Due to his accumulated experience and his education, Jeffrey Nemecek is also a proven prolific researcher and writer on issues related to public financing, especially municipal bonds, tax issues and many others.
